Credit Cards on the web - Things to look for
1. Annual Percentage Rate (APR) - At the end of the day the amount of interest you pay for a loan is the most important aspect of borrowing money. Remember annual fees are like interest costs, take them into account when looking at APR's.
2. Repayment terms - Carefully review your lenders repayment terms. Look for things like "grace period for purchases". If you don't have one we recommend applying for an American Express Card. They are a great company and have an amazing pledge to deliver quality customer service.
3. Penalties for late payments - Sure the bank will levy a "fine" if you pay late, but there is no reason you should immediately pay a ridiculous default APR or astronomical fees for one late payment.
4. Amount of Credit - The higher the credit line the better. You don't have to spend it all, but it's really not worth opening a new card unless you will be granted a reasonable line of credit.
